Gardony is rarely more than 2 km far from Velencefürdö.
Gardony is rarely more than 2 km far from Velencefürdö. This Agard holiday resort
is the most well-known and the most popular place among the tourists and it administravely
belongs to Gardony. Here is a very fast and conspicuous development with strands and
restaurantes and discos so now it similar to the atmosphere of the Lake Balaton.

can make many excursion or trip from the Lake Velencei-resort for example with ship.
The water world of the lake is very beautiful and exciting. The excursions often are

Sights
Roman
Catholic Church in Agard: It was built in 1814. Its altar-piece was pained
by Janos Mihaly Hesz in about 1820.
Geza Gardonyis house:
Geza Gardonyi was a very famous Hungarian writer. In this house, where he was born,
is an exhibition with his personal subjects.
Istvan Chernels birdhouse:
Here you can see the the rare and reserved birds, which are living near the lake.
